CULTURE POP SODA
Culture Pop Soda is a Boston-based probiotic soda brand that launched in 2020. I first joined the team this past summer as a Social Media Content Creation Intern, where my work spanned content ideation and production, community management, influencer partnerships, and brand strategy. These efforts spanned Instagram, TikTok, and ShopMy, helping the brand connect with audiences across multiple platforms. Currently, over this fall semester while at school, I have continued to work remotely, helping grow engagement and maintain community momentum through content calendar support, social monitoring, and collaboration on seasonal creative campaigns.

As part of my role at Culture Pop Soda, I ideate, pitch, film, and edit short-form video content for TikTok and Instagram Reels. Through weekly pitch meetings and collaborative brainstorms, I focus on aligning creative concepts with Culture Pop’s brand identity and social messaging, ensuring content resonates with our audience. This hands-on process has strengthened my ability to create trend-driven, brand-tailored content that connects with followers in an authentic way.
Through my work in content creation and brand strategy, I’ve been able to witness a ~28% overall increase in follower growth across Instagram and TikTok—including a ~34% increase on Instagram and an ~21% increase on TikTok—reflecting the measurable impact of creative campaigns and consistent engagement.

INFLUENCER MARKETING
At Culture Pop Soda, I supported influencer marketing by researching and identifying creators whose audiences and values aligned with the brand. I managed outreach through email, social media DMs, and the ShopMy platform, while coordinating product gifting via Shopify and ShopMy. I also organized influencer campaigns within Tribe.com, placing creators into monthly gifting initiatives. While gifting was not tied to posting requirements, my efforts led to organic influencer content that authentically expanded Culture Pop’s reach and visibility.
COMMUNITY MANAGEMENT
During my summer with Culture Pop Soda, I managed TikTok community engagement by replying to all DMs, engaging with posts featuring the brand, and strategically commenting on broader content to boost visibility and relatability. I helped establish and maintain Culture Pop’s brand voice, ensuring authentic connections with audiences. Through creative, humorous commenting, I generated over 50K likes on TikTok posts, expanding reach and strengthening Culture Pop’s presence. Now, throughout the fall, I continue to manage community engagement across both Instagram and TikTok, further developing the brand’s social voice and audience relationships.
