CLUBS & MORE
Throughout my time at Tulane, I’ve been actively involved in a variety of clubs and organizations that reflect both my academic interests and personal passions. From contributing to philanthropy and professional development to supporting mental health awareness and creative initiatives, these experiences have allowed me to build community, strengthen leadership skills, and explore new perspectives beyond the classroom.
HOPELESSLY YELLOW TULANE
Hopelessly Yellow is a student-run organization dedicated to spreading positivity and raising mental health awareness on campus. As a member, I contributed graphic design samples for the club’s social media and creative projects, ensuring content aligned with HY’s uplifting and approachable brand. Beyond design, I also helped organize the club’s Wellness Walk, an event aimed at fostering community, encouraging self-care, and promoting mental health resources among students.
TU-STEP SERVICE DOG TRAINING
I often think back to when I first toured Tulane and heard the tourguide talk about the service dog training program that allowed students to get involved in a variety of ways. I remember my mom and I both thinking how that was right up my alley. From a young age I’ve loved animals, and as I’ve grown older I have spent a lot of time working with people with special needs and disabilities. The abilities of service dogs always amazed me and this club was the combination of all those interest and hobbies. Since my freshman year I have taken out the service dogs in the programs on walks and playtimes on an as need basis through the TU-STEP club. It was my first involvement in school activities aside from my coursework at Tulane and it has pretty much always been my favorite.
OTHER EXTRACIRRICULARS
Beyond the classroom, I stay actively involved in a variety of extracurricular organizations that strengthen both my academic and personal interests. As a member of Pi Beta Phi, I’ve contributed to philanthropy efforts for Read > Lead > Achieve through marketing and campus events. I am also a member of Psi Chi, the international honors society in psychology, where I engage with professional development opportunities such as speaker talks. Additionally, I participate in Women in Business and the Culinary Medicine Initiative, which allow me to explore leadership, wellness, and community impact outside of my core studies.
